Missions Weekend Concert
This year's Missions Convention is a two-day affair beginning on Saturday, August 28th with a benefit concert entitled "Live Out the Love." In keeping with this year's theme of "Live Out the Love of Christ" the concert will assist the West Indies Theological College (W.I.T.C.) based in La Pastora, Trinidad & Tobago. The concert will feature The Mezclada Project: made of singers and musicians from across the Church of God in Barbados who are now in the process of completing its first recording project. Other performing artistes include Granville Maynard, Romaro Greaves, Tavia Drakes and the worship band of the Gardens Church of God. Tickets cost $10 and the event begins at 5:59pm.WITC has been training Church of God leaders for over 50 years.

Missions Convention 2008: Equip for Ministry
The 2008 Missions Convention will be programmed from 29th to 31st August.
The Convention begins on Friday at the Chapman Street Church and will feature a presentation on our outreach visit to St.Vincent as well as a presentation by our Missionary to Burkina Faso, West Africa, Sis Kimberly Maynard. This service begins at 7.15pm.
The Crab Hill Church will be holding their “Fun Day” on the Saturday (30th) at Archers Bay Playing Field. This event begins at 9.00am but at 3.00pm our Convention continues with the annual motorcade through the environs.
You are invited to come and walk, pray, sing and praise the Lord. The Gardens Liturgical Dancers will dance at several spots along the route.
The Convention concludes on Sunday (31st) with general worship at the Orange Hill Church. The service begins at 9.00am and will feature a presentation on Haiti as well as presentations by the Chairperson of the Board of Evangelism and Missions, Sis Jennifer Francis and our Missionary to Albania, Sis Wanda Kirton.
Special Music will be rendered at the Friday and Sunday services and you are reminded that this year’s Mission Goal is BD$ 15,000.00.
