Believers' Convention 2012: Prayer Breakfast

Believers' Convention 2012: Centennial Celebrations

Centennial Celebrations: FACEBOOK Invasion!

Here are the 'official' Facebook icons for the Centennial Celebrations. The idea is that ALL CHURCH OF GOD Facebook members and friends change their profile picture to one of these for the week of our Believers' Convention services. You can select one with your Zone colour (Blue - Zone1, Orange/Peach - Zone2, Yellow/Gold - Zone 3) or the one on a white background (if you're not 'partial'!) Let the invasion begin!!

The Centennial Celebrations logo

The design of the centennial logo attempts to capture a bit of the story behind the Church of God's earliest days as a movement on the island and the theme of the Celebrations: "Hitherto, Witherto." The work in Barbados was started by a Barbadian, Bro. Philip Scantlebury. He gathered a small group in Mile & A Quarter under a tamarind tree (silhouette in the background). 18 churches and 2000 members later, the movement continues to be a vital part of Kingdom building in Barbados.

International relief organizations estimate the death toll at over 150,000 with upwards of half a million people displaced and without shelter. In answering the call for assistance, CGM has received more than $53,000 in disaster relief donations from individuals and congregations.
